OPETH Win Swedish GRAMMY!

OPETH have won a Swedish Grammy in the "Best Hard Rock" category for their "Deliverance" album at the 2003 Grammisgala, held last night (Feb. 18) in Stockholm, Sweden. Previous winners include THE HAUNTED (2000),BACKYARD BABIES (1998, 2001) and MISERY LOVES CO. (1997). The other nominees in the "Best Hard Rock" category were IN FLAMES, MUSTASCH, PATHOS and THE HELLACOPTERS. The biggest winner of the evening however, was mainstream pop-rock act KENT with no less than seven awards — a new Swedish record.
